Pre-Shoot Checklist
Prepare your home for stunning photos
The 4 Essentials
Complete these before your photographer arrives
Lights ON, Fans OFF
Turn on every light in the house including lamps, under-cabinet lights, and closet lights. Turn off all ceiling fans.
Open All Window Coverings
Open all curtains, drapes, and pull blinds all the way up. Natural light makes rooms look bigger and more inviting.
Clear the Driveway
Remove all vehicles from the driveway and front of the house. Move trash cans, recycling bins, and hoses out of sight.
Set the A/C
Set the thermostat to a comfortable temperature (72-74°F). Arizona heat can affect equipment and comfort during the shoot.

Arizona-Specific Tips
Our desert climate requires some special considerations
Schedule Smart
Morning shoots (before 10am) or late afternoon work best in summer to avoid harsh midday sun.
Cool It Down
Set your A/C to 72-74°F at least 30 minutes before the shoot for comfort.
Water Features
Fill pools and spas to proper levels. Skim debris and turn on water features.
Desert Landscaping
